We have a lot of customers who are intolerant of cows milk cheese but this does not mean that they can’t enjoy a delicious and well-balanced cheese board. Here is a selection for those of you who don’t want cows milk and those of you who fancy a change:
Berkswell Ewe – our favourite fruity, flavoursome sheep’s milk cheese from the Midlands. (V)
Ryefield Goat – our best selling soft, fresh goat’s cheese from Co. Tyronne – white, creamy with just the right amount of tangy aftertaste. (V)
Gabriel Blue – wonderful, soft blue ewes milk cheese from Inglewhite, Preston matured in a cave for greater depth of flavour. (V)
Dolphinholme Smoked Goat – medium smoking of this nutty tangy goats cheese gives it a lovely mellow edge. (V)
Wigmore – One of the most superb British cheeses available, Wigmore is a soft, melting sheeps cheese from Anne Wigmore in Berkshire. It has a floral taste with nutty overtones and justifiably has won many awards. made with unpasteurised milk. (V)
