Sheep & Goat Selection
We have a lot of customers who are intolerant of cows milk cheese but this does not mean that they can’t enjoy a delicious and well-balanced cheese board. Here is a selection for those of you who don’t want cows milk and those of you who fancy a change
Berkswell Ewe – our favourite fruity, flavoursome sheep’s milk cheese from the Midlands. (V)
Rosary Goat – our best selling soft, fresh goat’s cheese from Co. Tyronne – white, creamy with just the right amount of tangy aftertaste. (V)
Mrs Bell’s Blue – wonderful, soft blue ewes milk cheese from Richmond, North Yorkshire great depth of flavour. (V)
Ribblesdale Smoked Goat – medium smoking of this nutty tangy goats cheese gives it a lovely mellow edge. (V)
Wigmore Ewe – One of the most superb British cheeses available, Wigmore is a soft, melting sheep’s cheese from Anne Wigmore in Berkshire. It has a floral taste with nutty overtones and justifiably has won many awards. Made with unpasteurised ewes milk and vegetarian rennet.
