Just for fun, this Dutch Gouda has pesto, fenugreek and Italian herbs added for a real taste of summer! The cheese comes from E.M. Treur in Woerden, right in the heart of Dutch cheese making country. Treur was founded in 1955 and is a real family business. Over more than 50 years, Treur has become a specialist in the ageing and care of Dutch cheese. Currently, the company is guided by the second generation Treur, Daan and René Treur, two brothers. Made with pasteurised milk and traditional rennet.
