We think you can’t beat a British cheese board but there are some European classics which cannot be beaten, no cheeses compare. Here are some of the ones we think make a great well-balanced cheese board, 100g each:

Brie De Meaux – There is nothing like it! the classic soft French cheese with a great vegetal flavour.  Unpasteurised and traditional.

Jerseyhoeve – Award-winning jersey milk Gouda from Holland.  Pasteurised and traditional.

Manchego – Crisp, nutty ewe’s milk cheese from Don Quixote’s Spain.  Pasteurised and traditional.

Gorgonzola – Sweet, creamy yet slightly bitter blue from Italy with a lasting aftertaste.  Made with pasteurised milk and traditional rennet

Alp Blossom – From Austria, a typical classic creamy, nutty Alpine cheese rolled in flowers, traditionally the first cut of the meadow. Made with unpasteurised milk and traditional rennet.

Presented in a recycled card hamper with one pack of biscuits and a jar of chutney selected to compliment the selection.
