Cornish Yarg with Wild Garlic – 100g
Fast becoming a classic British cheese, Cornish Yarg was originally introduced to the market shortly after the second world war. Originally developed by the Gray family (hence the name yarg – work it out!) it is now made at Lynher dairies at Ponsanooth. Cornish Yarg is mild and citrusy yet complex with a creamy texture. Classic yarg is famously wrapped in nettle leaves her is it’s younger sibling wrapped in wild garlic leaves for that special garlic flavour. All that and it looks beautiful on the cheeseboard.
Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
