Mrs Bell’s salad cheese 100g

Made in Thirsk, North Yorkshire by Judy Bell of the Shepherds Purse cheese company with sheep milk. Judy originally became interested in ewes milk cheese when her daughter was born with a cows’ milk intolerance. The cheese was originally called Yorkshire Feta but an EU ruling stated that only cheese made in Greece could be called feta meant that the name had to be changed. It has a lemony flavour and much less salty than the Greek version. Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
