Garstang White 100g

A new cheese from Dewlay cheesemakers in Garstang near Preston. Dewlay was founded in 1957 by George Kenyon, a Lancastrian dairyman. Some fifty years on, the dairy is still family-owned and run and has stayed true to its roots. All of the electricity used to produce the cheese is provided by a windmill at the dairy. Garstang White provides a welcome addition to the North West cheese board, made with Jersey milk for a lovely creamy rich flavour with a hint of mushrooms on tasting. Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
