Our only Belgian cheese, beautiful, buttery Chimay Biere, rind washed in the iconic beer of the same name and still made by the Trappist monks of the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Scourmont. The beer gives a sticky, grassy, hoppy flavoured rind, much milder in flavour than the pungent aroma would indicate. Unsurprisingly good with a glass of ale! made with traditional rennt and pasteurised milk.
